the inspiration

session #1 - outlining

all it took was an idea,
in this case a sticker (see above)

the clay smith cam logo,
a bold representation of custom car culture.

once the placement had been found our first session had begun,
four hours later colin had a solid framework of outline.

session #2 - the colour (part one)

after weeks for healing,light scabs, dry skin and the dreaded itch, colin was back

three hours later,
there's solid red color with a little extra
texture added with orange and yellow.

session #3 - the colour (part two)

again after another session of healing comes another session of work

three more hours to fill the beak in yellow,
the missing text in the cigar,
the white in the eyes and teeth.

end of session #3 - completion

ten hours and months later, colin was complete, with an american icon for life.
healed photos to come, oh and now, he is talking about a background
......never ending...........
